This is me

I have always had a love for events, even from an early age. I remember helping my family plan birthday and holiday parties, and later I was grateful to have the opportunity to plan my best friend’s baby shower. There was something about the excitement and energy surrounding these events that attracted me. I loved seeing people come together to celebrate special occasions and create lasting memories. What started out as a hobby turned into a passion. Now, my focus is on advancing my career in event management, particularly at the intersection of music and special events.

Over the past three years, I've immersed myself in studying events and gaining practical experience. Experiential opportunities, volunteering, and coursework have provided me with a strong foundation in the events industry.

Most importantly, along my journey I have been able to learn and reflect from each event and experience drawing me closer to my future goal. One day I will become an event planner curating events for minorities and addressing women’s issues.  Events have the power to bring people together, inspire them, and drive change. The awareness of important causes that can be highlighted through events has been something that has always inspired me. I have always seen events as a form of community with all they have to offer, and striving to create that in my own way has allowed me to pursue this career path.
